We thought it was about time we had a campervan and as I’d just had a tax rebate I part exchanged my old friend a Smiley transit that I’d had for years it had withstood several Swedish winters without complaint but it was time to part ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buggy arrived she was a long wheelbase mk6 transit all I had to do now was convert her into a campervan which took a few weeks already for our adventure down to Newquay. Buggy wasn’t a fast van in fact probably slower than my old one despite the fact she had a turbo !
We had a great time in Newquay and Buggy never missed a beat, but that was just the start of our adventures together. Carol, myself and our two dogs Poppy and Mia adopted Buggy as our second home and regularly went to Shell Island loaded up for a week or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buggy had one big bug bear, RUST ! my od Smiley transit wasn’t that rusty but Buggy quuckly became riddled with it. As I had a Mig Welder I kept her alive for a few years but the inevitable happened despite me welding in new inner and outer sills on the passenger side the MOT man checked the drivers side and declared her unfit or the road the extent of the rust was beyond my welding skills. So I advertised her on Facebook and had a stream of buyers. We were very sad to see Buggy go she had been our seond home for a few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
